Video: New leak shows how thin the iPhone 17 Air really is (Photo: YouTube)
The highly anticipated iPhone 17 Air, which could become the thinnest phone ever produced by Apple, has leaked again in a video showing its thickness.
In a new video from the Unbox Therapy YouTube channel, host Lewis George Hilsenteger appears showing a “dummy” model of the device, which is expected to be released in September alongside the other iPhone 17 models.
If the leaks are confirmed, it seems the iPhone 17 Air will be even thinner than expected. At its thinnest point, it will be just 5.65 mm thick. For comparison, this is thinner than a pencil.

Hilsenteger didn’t hide his concerns about the potential bending of the device due to its thinness. However, he admitted that we won’t truly know until we have the phone in hand.
As previously reported, in order to be so thin, the iPhone 17 Air would sacrifice some hardware aspects. This means it may have a smaller battery capacity and only one camera lens.
